شكراً لك الاخ ياسر وهذا هو نص الايميل الذي ارسله محمد لجون كيري وزير الخارجية الامريكي.
My email to to the department of state and the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum has finally paid off.
The U.S. Embassy in Khartoum is now processing immigrant visa cases. There is no need to travel to Cairo. 😀😀😀
Below is the email I sent them and their response.
Dear Mr. Emam:
Thank you for your email dated August 2, 2013 regarding the unfortunate incident your friend experienced in Cairo, Egypt. Ambassador Stafford, the Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy Khartoum asked that I respond on his behalf.
The U.S. Embassy Khartoum has been processing nonimmigrant visas (NIV) since 2010, a relatively short time. Prior to that, NIV applicants had to apply at a U.S. Embassy in a neighboring country. In the case of immigrant visa processing, the Department of State wants to ensure that Embassy Khartoum has the resources, facilities and capacity necessary for NIV operations before opening for immigrant visas (IV’s). As you may know, the Embassy in Khartoum was closed to the public for security reasons for six months, from mid-September 2012 to mid-March 2013. For most of this period, we did not have either of our full-time Consular officers at the Embassy. So a stable security situation is also a pre-requisite for the expansion of visa services here in Khartoum.
The U.S. Embassy Khartoum hopes to begin offering IV processing in Khartoum in the future. We do realize that conditions in Cairo are uncertain at this time and we understand that it can be a hardship for applicants to process their IV’s petitions in Cairo.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will forward your email along with our response to the Department of State.

Please forward this message to Secretary of State Mr John Kerry:
Please forward this message to US Ambassador in Khartoum:
Dear Secretary of State Mr. John Kerry
Dear Ambassador Joseph D. Stafford:
You as the Head of the department of the state and as the head of the embassy in Khartoum should make an effort to make the processing of immigrants visa processing in Khartoum.Having the Sudanese travel to Egypt is risky, costly and its difficult for many people,in addition to that, the security situation in Egypt is not stable which puts many travelers at risk of robbery and harassment from the uncontrollable behavior of the Egyptian thugs and terrorists.
Last week, my friend who traveled to Egypt to process his Immigrant visa was robbed in broad day light in a public street on his way back home. they basically stole everything he had at the time and threatened to be harmed if he didn't co-operate.
I believe this embassy is open to service people who needs it in their matters.there is no point of having the largest embassy of the US in Khartoum when it does not service Sudanese immigrant visas applicants, by not servicing these applications in Khartoum
You'r contributing in setting these people at risk and jeopardizing the safety of the people by forcing them to travel to Cairo to process their application.
You hear MR MR Secretary of the State
You hear me MR Ambassador?
