Thanks for the logical analysis, I'm one of those who voted in the European elections (UK, I voted conservative) and I can tell that people voted far right for a number of reasons.
1. Brussels taking power of the local governments, people don't feel like they have a say on how their countries are run.
2. Mass immigration from poor eastern European countries like Poland.
3. Expensive bailout of struggling countries like Greece.
I would have voted UKIP if they were not clearly racist, I voted conservative with a hope they will hold a referendum on EU and I will vote for UK to quit the EU then.
Most of those I know who voted UKIP, will not vote for them in the local elections, or the general elections, It was a stance against EU not out of fascism.
