أنه لعمري أفضل وزير دفاع يمر على السودان منذ استقلاله… رأيناه في مواقع العمليات وفي الصفوف المتقدمة وفي رؤوس (الصناديق) في الأحراش يمشي أمامنا في الأوحال ولسع النحل…. رأيناه يسبق الجميع إلى موقع الحدث…. رأيناه يصلي ويصوم…. رأيناه يعمل طيلة اليوم…. ينتفض كالطير الجريح عندما تُمتهن كرامة السودان… وطني غيور…. عصامي …. نبيل….. ما قدمه للسودان يعجز اليراع عن تسجيله… أنه باختصار أفضل وزير دفاع يمر على السودان……… التحية والتجلة للجنرال عبد الرحيم محمد حسين……… إذا كثر النقد على رجل فأعلم بأنه يعمل…
