مجموعة دعم الثورة السودانية في غلاسكو تدين الانقلاب العسكري وتطالب بعودة الحكم المدني

منذ فجر الثورة السودانية، ما فتئنا نراقب عن كثب حقد وخداع القادة العسكريين الذين يواصلون محاولة التنجيم بإنجازات ثورتنا المجيدة، من خلال إقامة العديد من المتاريس بما في ذلك المصاعب الاقتصادية وعرقلة سير العدالة وسيادة القانون وتعطيل مؤسسات الدولة ووضع الإرادة الوطنية في أيدي البلدان الأجنبية.

ومع ذلك، استولوا على السلطة في انقلاب عسكري وحشي يوم الاثنين 25 أكتوبر 2021 ضد الحكومة المدنية واعتقلوا مسؤوليها بمن فيهم رئيس الوزراء عبد الله حمدوك واقتادوهم إلى أماكن مجهولة.

تدين مجموعة دعم الثورة السودانية في غلاسكو بشدة وتندد بهذا الانقلاب العسكري الذي ينتهك الوثيقة الدستورية التي تحكم الفترة الانتقالية في البلاد ويفتح الأبواب أمام الشمولية والديكتاتورية وتكرار الأساليب القديمة التي طبقها النظام الديكتاتوري السابق لمصادرة الحريات واستخدام التعذيب في محاولات لكسر الإرادة القوية للشعب السوداني.

ونعرب عن قلقنا العميق إزاء احتجاز المسؤولين الحكوميين المدنيين ونطالب بالإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عنهم وعكس مسار الانقلاب

ونعتقد أن إعلان حالة الطوارئ في البلاد، وتعليق المواد الرئيسية للوثيقة الدستورية، واحتجاز مسؤولي الحكومة المدنية من قبل الجناح العسكري للمجلس السيادي الانتقالي، يعرض للخطر حريات وحقوق الشعب السوداني ويقوض الجهود المبذولة من أجل الانتقال الديمقراطي في البلاد.

نود أن نؤكد أن شعلة الثورة لا تزال مشتعلة، ولن نتراجع قبل أن يكسر الجيش شوكته ويعيد الحكم المدني الكامل في البلاد.  وفي الختام، ندعو جميع السودانيين إلى توحيد صفوفهم لمواصلة مقاومتهم السلمية للحرية والحكومة التي يقودها المدنيون.  كما ندعو جميع الدول الحرة إلى إدانة الانقلاب العسكري في السودان ودعم الشعب السوداني في نضاله السلمي.

The Sudanese Revolution Support Group in Glasgow (SRSGG)

 A statement for condemning the military coup in Sudan & calling for civilian rule.

Since the dawn of the Sudanese revolution, we have been closely monitoring the malice and deceit of the military leaders who continuously attempt to assault on the achievements of our glorious revolution, by creating many barricades including economic hardship, obstruction of justice and the rule of law, disruption of the state’s institutions and putting the national will in the hands of foreign countries. Yet, they seized the power in a brutal military coup on Monday 25th October 2021 against the civilian government and arrested its officials including the prime minister Abdallah Hamdok and took them to unknown locations.

The Sudanese Revolution Support Group in Glasgow (SRSGG) strongly condemns and denounces this military coup which violates the constitutional document that governs the transitional period in the country and opens the doors for totalitarianism and dictatorship and repetition of the old methods that had been applied by the former dictatorship regime to confiscate freedoms and use the torture in attempts to break the strong will of the Sudanese people.

We express our deep concerns for the detention of the civilian government officials and demand their immediate and unconditional release and reversal of the coup.

We believe that the declaration of the state of emergency in the country, suspension of the key articles of the constitutional document, and detention of the civilian government’s officials by the military wing of the Transitional Sovereign Council jeopardize freedoms and rights of the Sudanese people and undermine efforts for democratic transition in the country.

We would like to stress that the flame of the revolution is still burning, and we will not retreat before the military’s tyranny until we break their thorn and restore a full civilian rule in the country.

In conclusion, we call upon all the Sudanese to unify and continue their peaceful resistance for freedom and civilian-led government.

We also call upon all the free nations to condemn the military coup in Sudan and back the Sudanese people in their peaceful struggle.
