الراحل الشاعر المسكون بالوطنية كان بالجيش المصري السوداني عندما كانت دولة واحدة وهو فعلا من اصول جنوبية وينتمي لقبيلة الدينكا..له الرحمة وسيجد عندنا التكريم قريبا هو وكل من انتمى او ساهم فى نهضة جنوب السودان فى شتى المناحي .
كان من أرباب السيف و القلم. عمل مديراً لمكتب اليوزباشي ( الرائد) صلاح سالم عضو مجلس ثورة يوليو 1952م في مصر.
