هذه الصورة لا علاقة بتاريخ الطيران في السودان (إن كان للطيران أصلاً تاريخ في السودان). والصورة لشبان انجليز(ربما موظفين حكومة) يلهون ويحتفلون ويهرجون في اعياد الكريسماس بعيداً عن الاهل في بريطانيا. وكما هو واضح فالطائرة عبارة عن دراجة هوائية ركبوا لها لوح خشب مغطى بملاية وورق جريدة التايمز الشهيرة بورقها الناعم. والمروحة في المقدمة تعمل عندما تتحرك الدراجة. والجميع يضحك ما عدا السودانيين الذين كانو يتوقعون أن تطير . وقد ارتدى المهرج ما يشبه قبعة الطيار.. للامعان في التهريج.
